A musician/singer from Georgia Nuci Nebieridze, came to New York to give voice to her rich inner world through her original music. Her project “Nuci Nebieridze Quintet” with her original compositions and arrangements has done many successfull shows in New York venues such as “Club Bonafide”, “Birdland Jazz Club” and “Rockwood Music Hall.” Ms. Nebieridze has appeared internationally, performing in Georgia, Germany, Scotland, England and the United States. Equally comfortable in jazz and pop settings, she has been featured at the National Georgian Music Festival “Art Gene” and performed concerts at “Tbilisi Event Hall”, “Tbilisi Conservatoire Hall”, etc. Other appearances include the Black Sea Jazz Festival, Tbilisi Open Air Festival and concerts held by Ministry Of Culture. She was permanently invited to record at the Tbilisi State Conservatoire’s “Music Technology Studio," an honor resulting in a highly successful collaboration with some of Georgia’s most prominent jazz performers. In 2015 Ms. Nebieridze formed a group using guitar/vocals/loop/electro sound effects and performed live in venues across Georgia. In 2016 she performed with an orchestra at the Solo Concert Of Guliko Chanturia, the dean of jazz vocal faculty at Conservatoire. She performed at the solo concert with her “Nuci Nebieridze Quintet” project in Tbilisi, at “The Movement Theatre” with her original compositions. Nuci has participated in TV Shows/Competitions in Georgia – “The Voice”, “X Factor” where she caught the attention of the judges and the Georgian public and was considered as an unique vocalist with a quite different, individual, special manner and expression. As she grew up in a family of artists, Nuci finished eight-year classical piano school; graduated from Academy Of Arts with a bachelor’s degree in film/painting as well as from Tbilisi State Conservatoire majoring in jazz/vocal both with full scholarships; She came to New York to continue her studies at The New School For Jazz And Contemporary Music.
